Patients will be requested, where necessary at the treatment stage, to attend a private ‘Smile Design Consultation’ with Wayne Hall to establish their personal requirements in aesthetic effects, techniques and materials that will ultimately enhance the finished product. Individuals can be shown a variation of technical possibilities that will encourage a superior clinical experience whilst providing further clarity in the processes of the planned treatment that they will undergo within the dental practice.

Shade taking and matching analysis are also available at the laboratory for any complicated matches to encourage a smooth process, without unnecessary hindrance for both the dentist and patient.

In order to illustrate the optimum aesthetic design based on an individual’s physical appearance, age and personality; diagnostic wax ups can be created from the initial consultation to provide the dentist and patient a greater insight into the completed restoration fabrication at the planning stage.

We will also provide written evaluation of our technical analysis and suggested recommendations to ensure that the dental team are fully informed and assisted at every stage of the treatment by our laboratory.

If consultation is not necessary, or unavailable, the laboratory will still offer the use of electronic data storage so that digital photographs can be referred to quickly and consultation can also be provided to clients regarding any clinical considerations, shade analysis and additional guidance to supplement the prescription provided. This can be done without any direct contact with the patient. Further e-mail support will also be provided where an immediate referral is required on each individual case. In most cases, we can provide support while the patient is still in the chair at the initial clinical appointment.

Samples of bespoke enamel shades can be created and sent to the practice, benefiting the dentist with further shade options to examine with the patient. This service is particularly valuable and effective for our national clients.
